Hello! I’m Deval Shah, Deep Reinforcement Learning Research Engineer with a passion for pushing the boundaries of AI. Currently at Nimble AI, I lead research in developing large-scale ML systems for warehouse automation, where I’ve implemented novel multi-agent reinforcement learning architectures that have achieved significant performance improvements.
With a Master’s from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science, I’ve spent years working at the intersection of Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning and real-world applications.
Through this blog, I’ll be sharing my experiences, insights, and learnings in:
- Applications of RL in:
- Games and Game AI
- Robotics and Automation
- Finance and Trading
- Drug Discovery
- Operations Research
- Language Models
- Reinforcement Learning fundamentals and advanced topics
- Deep dives into specific algorithms and architectures
- Real-world implementation challenges and solutions
- Latest developments in ML/AI
Whether you’re a fellow researcher, engineer, or just curious about the field, I hope to provide valuable insights from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Stay tuned for detailed posts on reinforcement learning and its applications in solving complex real-world problems.
Let’s learn and grow together in this exciting field!
